Frequently Asked Questions, answered

What does Work of Leaders cover?

Three leadership responsibilities: crafting a vision, creating alignment and championing execution. You discover your own style on the Everything DiSC Leadership Map and see where your natural tendencies help with each of the three and where they can get in the way.

Who is it for?

Leaders and future leaders, from executives down to people being developed towards senior roles. It works in organisations of any size, so everyone on the leadership journey is welcome.

What do participants get?

Each participant takes away their own printed Everything DiSC Work of Leaders profile, a personalised report that connects their DiSC style to the three things leaders actually have to do: craft a Vision, build Alignment around it, and champion Execution. The report shows how their natural style helps and hinders them at each of these steps, plots them against the eighteen leadership behaviours that sit underneath, and ends with a personal action plan they choose during the session. Beyond the report, leaders leave with a clear, shared model of leadership they can apply immediately, honest insight into their own tendencies (for example, a leader who is strong on vision but rushes alignment), continued access to their profile on Catalyst, and practical ways to adapt their approach so their teams get the direction, buy-in and follow-through they need.

How is it different from the Management programme?

Work of Leaders is about setting direction and getting people behind it. Management is about the day to day of running people: directing, motivating and developing them. Senior leaders usually love Work of Leaders, while team managers usually prefer the Management programme.
