What People Say About Our Workshops
Frequently Asked Questions, answered
What is MBTI and what does it tell us?
MBTI traces patterns in behaviour to one of 16 personality types, giving your team a framework for understanding themselves and appreciating where colleagues genuinely differ. The point isn’t the four letters. It’s the common language people take away afterwards.
How does the session run?
We begin by creating a space where people can be honest, then introduce MBTI and explore the 16 types together, before moving on to what your team’s collective strengths actually are. Every programme is built around your objectives rather than run off a standard deck, so it feels made for your team.
Who facilitates it?
Barbara, one of our founders, is a certified MBTI practitioner and has been running MBTI workshops since 2012, so your team is in very experienced hands.
How is MBTI different from DISC?
MBTI looks at cognitive preference, how people take in information and reach decisions. DISC looks at observable behaviour, how people tend to act. MBTI goes deeper into why someone is the way they are, while DISC gives you something to apply the very next morning.
How is MBTI different from Belbin?
MBTI describes the individual: how someone takes in information and reaches decisions. Belbin describes the team: which roles are covered and which are missing. MBTI works beautifully with any group, including people who don’t work together day to day. Belbin is best with an intact team, because the team report is the whole point.
