Over the past 20 to 30 years Agile methods have revolutionized information technology and greatly contributed to boosting the productivity and motivation of various teams. Agile is a revolutionary project management methodology that makes it easy to solve problems and deliver value. The most common and widely used framework of Agile is Scrum amongst other well-known methods like Kanban.
Agile, an iterative and step-by-step framework, teaches teams and organisations how their goals and ideas can be effectively refined as well as prioritization, planning and forecasting. Innovation resonates best with agile.
Agile training can improve project performance by teaching organisations how to properly implement basic concepts of Agile. Diverse methodologies of Agile cater to various needs of companies and organisations be it big or small that spread across a wide range of industries. Scrum is a good option to choose if your end goal is not clear or there is uncertainty in a project. It is best suited for bigger teams.
Two main key points of Agile are Stability and Innovation. Agile gives you stability about your project while helping you innovate more. Teams often face challenges while implementing Agile methodologies. Ideally, having all the team members attend a common training like team building can eliminate some of these problems. It is essential for teams to have a hands-on training as along with linking theory and practice it also increases engagement levels.
Team building is an excellent way to facilitate these concepts to teams who have a fair idea of agile or even teams that have never experienced the agile way of working as well as leaving a long lasting impact on the organisation. According to a research, the likelihood of a project being finished on time with Agile project management is up-to 64% when compared to using other methods. Companies such as IBM, Apple , Microsoft etc widely use it because of its easy understanding and implementing frameworks.
