Connection & Belonging
Bring your team back together
Hybrid and remote work gets the job done, but it quietly erodes the human connection that holds a team together. This Growth day rebuilds the relationships and sense of belonging that make people want to show up.
Choose your activity
Four team building activities built for connection & belonging
Each one gives the team a real challenge to work through together and then we wrap the same guided reflection around it. Pick the one that fits your group, or ask us to recommend.
The Wild Goats Challenge
The Wild Goats Challenge is a wild & chaotic scavenger hunt that transforms the city into a playground of over 100 unpredictable tasks, ranging from brain-teasing riddles to hilariously physical stunts like handstands and silly faces. Guided by a live leaderboard, teams must tap into their collective ingenuity and individual strengths to prioritize goals and solve puzzles under a ticking clock. This unscripted experience strips away office hierarchy, replacing it with a whirlwind of creative resourcefulness and quick-fire communication where literally nothing is off-limits. It is a pulse-pounding lesson in tactical agility, proving that the most resilient teams are those that can navigate pure chaos with a sense of humor while staying laser-focused on the goal.
Beach Olympics
Escape the office and head to the coast for a high-energy series of sun-soaked challenges designed to crown the ultimate champions. Participants are split into teams to tackle a variety of playful, beach-themed contests like Crazy Stretcher and Frank on Fire, where both physical coordination and mental agility are put to the test. This gold-medal competition provides the perfect environment for colleagues to unwind and bond while fostering a team-first mentality through friendly rivalry. With surprises at every turn and a podium finish awaiting the highest scorers, it is a refreshing way to build synergy and celebrate collective success away from the desk.
The Big Picture
The Big Picture is an art-jamming experience that empowers teams to visualize their collective vision by contributing individual masterpieces to a massive, unified work of art. Based on your specific goals, each group receives a segment of a larger outline and a unique color palette to interpret and create, fostering a vibrant and diverse final reveal. This hands-on activity serves as a powerful metaphor for how individual efforts impact the whole while offering a relaxing space for self-reflection and creative expression. Beyond strengthening connection, it acts as a therapeutic outlet that reduces stress, boosts self-esteem, and celebrates the beauty of a synchronized team effort.
Fashion Show
The Fashion Show Game is a high-energy challenge where teams transform unconventional materials into runway-ready couture through trivia and rapid innovation. After competing for odd resources in a fast-paced quiz, groups must design and construct unique outfits under a strict one-hour deadline. The experience concludes with a spectacular catwalk finale that sparks laughter and deep interpersonal bonding while highlighting collective resourcefulness. This activity proves that a unified team can deliver high-impact results under pressure even when working with the most eccentric tools available.

How a growth day works
The activity changes. The method doesn’t.
Whichever activity you choose, we wrap it in the same Frame → Pause → Commit method, so the day stays fun, but the connection lessons actually stick.
Deep, hands-on facilitation. Facilitators draw out the learning at every step.
1
Pre-frame
Set the mindset for the day: be focused, curious, present and open to being vulnerable.
2
Targeted outcome
Facilitated discussion with videos & slides to name the one thing the team will focus on in the activity.
3
The activity
Run the experience with that focus front of mind, so the lesson plays out in real time.
4
Guided reflection
What did you notice? What went well? Were you able to hold the focus? Facilitators turn the experience into insight.
5
Moving forward
Build a concrete action plan for putting the learning to work back in the office.
A worksheet runs through every step, from pre-frame to forming the action plan at the end.
Frequently Asked Questions, answered
Who is this growth day for?
Teams that work together without really knowing each other. Often hybrid or remote work has done it quietly over time, new joiners never quite got absorbed, interactions have become all tasks and calls, or there are people on the edge of the group who’ve stopped being missed.
What will be different afterwards?
People actually know each other, including those who joined during the remote stretch. New faces get welcomed rather than left to work it out, everyone feels part of the team, and the everyday rapport that makes work easier comes back.
Why these activities?
We have four activities, and they’re the ones that get people talking rather than just competing. The Wild Goats Challenge sends teams after more than 100 unpredictable tasks across the city, from riddles to silly stunts, which strips away office hierarchy and breaks the ice fast. The Big Picture and the Fashion Show Game lean on creativity, so people end up showing a bit of themselves, whether they’re painting a segment of one huge artwork or building runway outfits from unconventional materials. Beach Olympics is the physical one, with playful challenges where friendly rivalry builds a team first mentality.
Half our team is remote. Does that work?
Our growth days run in person, and that’s a big part of why they work for reconnecting a team. For a hybrid team, the best approach is to bring everyone together in the same room for the day, which is often exactly what rebuilds the human connection that remote work quietly wears down. Tell us how your team is split and we’ll help you plan around it.
How is it different from Cross Collaboration?
Connection is about people knowing each other, while cross collaboration is about departments working together. If your team is friendly but the handovers are a mess, cross collaboration is the one for you.
Let’s design your teams growth day
Tell us the outcome you’re chasing and the team you’re bringing. We’ll shape a day that delivers it and is genuinely good fun along the way.
