Breaking Barriers

Break those barriers that are holding you back from achieving your goals. Jambar’s breaking barriers helps people identify, acknowledge and overcome their fears and insecurities that are stopping them from achieving their goals. This is achieved by using mental strength and focus to physically break through a thick wooden board, a goal that initially seems unachievable. By the end of the session, participants will be overwhelmed with all the positive energy they gained through out the activity. They will feel a sense of achievement which will help them navigate through their barriers both in their personal and work lives.

who is this growth day for

For teams facing constant change

If any of these sound like your team, a change readiness day builds the agility they need.

Every shift in priorities throws the whole team off balance

People cling to the old way long after it’s stopped working

Change lands as anxiety and resistance rather than momentum

Plans change faster than the team can adapt to them

Heading into a merger, reorg, new system or new strategy

Agility that holds

What your team
walks away with

Through a shared challenge and guided reflection, the team practises adapting fast under changing conditions and then carries that agility into whatever comes next.

Adapt fast

Adjust the plan quickly when the situation changes.

Stay steady

Keep calm and focused when priorities keep moving.

Embrace the new

Meet change with curiosity instead of resistance.

Decide with less certainty

Make good calls even when the picture is unclear.

Bring others along

Help teammates move through change together.

Bounce forward

Turn disruption into momentum rather than a stall.

How a growth day works

The activity changes. The method doesn’t.

Whichever activity you choose, we wrap it in the same Frame → Pause → Commit method, so the day stays fun, but the change readiness lessons actually stick.

Deep, hands-on facilitation. Facilitators draw out the learning at every step.

1

Pre-frame

Set the mindset for the day: be focused, curious, present and open to being vulnerable.

2

Targeted outcome

Facilitated discussion with videos & slides to name the one thing the team will focus on in the activity.

3

The activity

Run the experience with that focus front of mind, so the lesson plays out in real time.

4

Guided reflection

What did you notice? What went well? Were you able to hold the focus? Facilitators turn the experience into insight.

5

Moving forward

Build a concrete action plan for putting the learning to work back in the office.

A worksheet runs through every step, from pre-frame to forming the action plan at the end.
