The Tailor is designed to demonstrate the principles of Scrum methodology that can help teams understand what it means to be truly agile in a fast paced changing environment.
In this creativity fuelled activity teams are assigned a product owner and will be given materials to design a clothing outfit for a client. The activity is divided into various fabrication rounds or sprints and each team has to demo what they were working on at the end of each sprint.
Teams have to work together in an agile manner by creatively interpreting and adapting to the clients requirements based on the questions they get to ask at the end of each sprint. Teams will be challenged with changes in the product design as they race together to bring clients vision to life.
Once teams have finished their outfits, participants come together to publicly vote for the best outfit. Teams are judged based on various criteria such as most agile, most bold and most collaborative. The Tailor is a one of kind creative activity which balances fun & practical demonstration of Agile/Scrum principles in your teams.
