The Need for Speed team building challenge

The F1 Challenge is a high-octane engineering race where teams transform raw wood, wheels, and axles into fully functional, people-powered concept cars. Starting with an intensive indoor design phase, participants must delegate roles and master precision construction under a strict clock before subjecting their vehicles to a rigorous safety inspection. The experience shifts outdoors for a high-energy finale, where teams debut their “Champions Chant” and pilot their custom creations in a head-to-head sprint for the title. This activity fuses technical ingenuity with raw competitive spirit, proving that a team’s collective horsepower is fueled by seamless coordination and a shared drive for the finish line.

Program details

With The F1 Challenge, Jambar Team Building brings the need for speed to Singapore. This team building activity combines a design challenge with a race, as teams craft custom cars and put them to the test.

The challenge begins indoors as you and your fellow team members are given an instructional booklet, tools and materials (such as wheels, axles, and wood) and a timeframe in which you must design and build a custom concept car. Your end car will be a fully- working, people-powered vehicle.

After the build phase, teams present their work and submit their cars for safety inspection. Then the challenge moves outdoors, as it’s off to the races! Come up with your team’s Champions Chant, then get behind the wheel, put pedal to metal, and leave your competition in the dust! Use this high-octane challenge to bring racetrack levels of excitement to your next corporate function.
