A snapshot of the activities characteristics on how it may impact your team
A team test of high-altitude dexterity
The Drone Challenge is a high-tech aerial mission that transforms a group of novices into a squadron of precision pilots. Starting in Flight School, participants master the basics of drone handling before shifting into a strategic design phase where they must collaborate to construct devious obstacle courses meant to sabotage their rivals. This activity perfectly blends engineering ingenuity with real-time dexterity, proving that a team’s success in the modern world depends on their ability to build for the future and navigate turbulence with a steady, collective hand.

Program details
Presenting to you, Jambar’s very own ‘The Drone Challenge” which can let you and your team proudly declare, “I am the pilot of my drone!” after the event!
Do not fear if you have no experience with drones because our patient facilitators and organizers will guide your team in the Flight School.
After grasping the basics in the Flight School, you can look forward to flying your drones! But where are the fun and challenge if we just set our drones to fly freely? So before taking flight, your team’s collaboration skills will be put to test.
As a group, you will discuss, plan and build obstacles for drones to pass through. These obstacles will need to meet the given requirements by the Flight School so as to ensure safety for the drones and 100% fulfilment for your team because your obstacles will be challenged by other teams!
So it is now time for your team to work together to design and construct obstacles within the requirements but tough for others!
The activity will end with the highlight: your team (yes, every one of you) can fly the drone and put your skills to the test.
Your team will have to display precise and stable flight control while manoeuvring through other teams’ obstacle courses. Of course, you can also earn some bonus if you display cool stunts along the way!
Are you ready to call yourselves “pilot of my drone?” Send us an inquiry for this unique team-building activity!

Frequently Asked Questions, answered
What happens in the Drone Challenge?
Teams first discuss, plan and build obstacles for the drones to navigate. Participants then go through a flight-school session before taking control of the drones and putting their flying skills to the test.
Do people need to know how to fly a drone beforehand?
No. Previous drone-flying experience is not required. Everyone takes part in a flight-school session first, so participants can learn the basics before the challenge begins.
Can we run it in our own office, or do we need a venue?
The activity is designed primarily for an indoor setting, but it requires a suitable open area for safe drone operation. We can assess whether your office is suitable or recommend a venue.
Who does it suit?
It suits teams that enjoy hands-on challenges, technology, creativity and a little friendly competition. It is particularly engaging for teams who like learning something new together.
