Bond your team over Singapore’s hawker heritage

Hawker Food Heroes turns a food trail into a race against time and a crash course in teamwork. As teams hunt down beloved local dishes across the city, they get an engaging platform to learn more about Singapore’s rich hawker culture, while the mission itself pushes them to think on their feet. Tight timings and real limitations encourage a risk-taking mindset and the resilience to bounce back when a plan doesn’t pan out, and every decision along the way sharpens the team’s communication and decision-making. It’s a deliciously fun way to bring people together with plenty of laughs, photos and full stomachs by the end.

Program details

Fast forward to 2047: Singapore is plagued by an epidemic called Emptyism, caused by the disappearance of hawker food. Each of your teams represents a GRC in Parliament and you’re being sent back to 2026 to collect hawker food samples to serve as wonder cures, ready to clone and mass-produce once you return to the future.

During the adventure, your team will find, sample and take fun pictures with popular hawker favourites like curry puffs, popiah and sugar cane juice. You’ll need to strategise the shortest route, race against the clock and work within tight limitations to complete this arduous mission. Finally, to make it back to 2047, your team must find and battle a gate-keeper in a high-stakes game of Snakes and Ladders.

This mission builds team spirit through hands-on challenges, encourages a resilient, risk-taking mindset, and puts your team’s communication and decision-making to the test all while uncovering the stories behind Singapore’s hawker culture.
